When Cemal stops Fatma at the last minute, threatening, "I'll tell them it was you," she gives up out of fear. Hasibe exploits Ali's conscience. Unable to bear the plight of Mavi's family, Ali brings them to the mansion. This causes a major incident at the mansion. Refika allows the Hasibes to stay on the condition that they serve at the mansion. Hasibe, who has been planning to move in no matter what, agrees despite Mavi's objections.
