Smita is living with her domineering mother-in-law after her husband Rishi mysteriously disappears. Burdened by social judgment, workplace harassment, and suppressed desire, Smita's stagnant life is disrupted when Samarth, a charming young musician, becomes the new paying guest in her house. A charged relationship develops between them, awakening Smita's long-buried desires and sense of self, even as secrets, jealousy, and misunderstandings threaten to destroy it.
