With her back against the wall, Anne Fortier takes a desperate gamble and decides to direct the investigation deep into the forest. The longer it goes on, the less likely it becomes that her missing colleague will be found safe and sound. At the risk of offending the Native American communities of the nearby reservation, she sets out to confront the bloodthirsty aggressor on his own territory.
