Hamza Boumahraz, an independent director born in 1997 in Morocco, began his artistic journey through theater during the last decade, being part of a professional theater troupe in Morocco where he introduced himself as a promising actor, so he gradually moved into the world of cinema through his experimental endeavors. His first film, "New Scars" which considered by Hamza Boumahraz as an attempt to explore new ways and methods to practice the art of cinema on a daily basis, by narrating his personal experience, which resulted in a film tells the story of an injured finger of a young director. His second film, "The dancing pistol" also maintained an experimental touch. It presented a challenge for director Hamza Boumahraz, as it was the first time he worked with professional actors to tell a complex story of flawed and peculiar characters. The film's setting in an imaginary city's alleys introduced characters woven from nothingness, colliding to create an engaging conflict in the backdrops that is tired of quiet nights. As for his latest film, "Actor for Sale," it is considered as one of his most significant works, encompassing the essence of the artistic experiment he pursued in his earlier films. Through this experience, Hamza Boumahraz sought to find his unique and genuine artistic style. The film portrays the lifelines of an unknown actor, earnestly attempting to express to others, "I am here, and I want an opportunity." It does not matter where, as long as he can share his emotions with an eager audience through the camera. the "Casting" camera rejects the character of Ahmed, who holds a panel with all his dreams up for sale. Will there be a buyer? Hamza Boumahraz's biography highlights his passion for exploring and transcending the boundaries of cinema and storytelling through his artistic experimentation.
