He has already directed four feature films: Le ciel est à nous (1997), a high-octane crime thriller starring Romane Bohringer, Melvil Poupaud and Élodie Bouchez; Les Kidnappeurs (1998) starring Melvil Poupaud, Élodie Bouchez and Romain Duris; Le Pacte du silence (2003) with Gérard Depardieu, Élodie Bouchez and Carmen Maura; Hello Goodbye (2008) with Gérard Depardieu, Fanny Ardant and Manu Payet. Plus forts que le diable (2025) marks his return in a delirious hybrid film.
