Okatani Wataru, who was an ace reporter in the social affairs department of a major newspaper company, witnesses his wife having an affair and decides to get a divorce. Instead of going ahead with the divorce right away, he works hard with his partner, a detective, to gather evidence of his wife’s affair in order to earn the right to be the rightful caretaker of his daughter.
